 Case Study: Chipotle BOGO Day

In 2017, DC Fray joined Chipotle's national Social Sport Buy One Get One Free activation. In its first year, DC Fray set the new standard for the event by moving nearly 2,900 BOGOs- nearly 1,000 more than any other club.

To make the activation a success (despite a local norovirus scare the week before), DC Fray engaged in a combination of digital and on-site support. This included creating a dedicated social media channel, executing a coordinated, multi-week campaign across social media and email and engaging players in-person before and during during the event.

To reinforce community ties, DC Fray partnered with DC Public Schools and donated $1 for every 'BOGO' sold to benefit local schoolchildren in need.

In all, DC Fray's Chipotle BOGO Day delivered more than 100,000 digital and 10,000 physical impressions on the day of the event.
