We have good news and bad news. The bad news: Memorial Day weekend is unfortunately behind us. The good news: This edition of Weekly Wins is experiencing no shortage of activities around DC.

Wednesday, May 30

– See Jurassic World like never before. The National Symphony Orchestra and the Kennedy Center host the World Premiere of Jurassic World – in Concert. The NSO will perform Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino’s Jurassic World score live while the film is projected in HD onto a massive screen.

Thursday, May 31

– Upgrade your usual Thursday happy hour experience with beer and donuts at Right Proper! They will be offering flights and pints of signature ales, beer-glazed donuts holes, board games and brew talk. The first 25 people registered go home with a Right Proper pint glass.

– Celebrate the wonder of short films competition style with the Capitol Hill Film Classic. The best local and international films will compete for bragging rights in front of a live audience at the historic Miracle Theatre.

Friday, June 1

– Under the columns of the National Building Museum, SAVOR is a must-attend event for beer aficionados. Indulge in unique craft beer samplings and culinary creations from a diverse lineup of 90 independent breweries. This is a two-day event.

– Kick off June with the 26th annual Capital Jazz Fest! The opening theme is “Friday Night Soul” featuring music from Earth, Wind & Fire and Ledisi. There’s also a late night Jam Session hosted by American jazz composer Marcus Miller. This star-studded event runs throughout the weekend.

Saturday, June 2

– The Capitals finally made it over the hump and are back in the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in 20 years! Make your way to Capital One Arena to catch Game 3 and be sure to #RockTheRed. – The All American Beer Fest at the Fairgrounds delivers an all day long event offering unlimited tastings of America’s finest beers. Grab your red, white, and blue and get your brew on! This event also features dozens of local food trucks and live music from DC’s most popular DJs.

– Love beer and hiking? Join us Saturday, June 2nd for an exclusive preview of a hiking trip like no other with Trails & Ales! Don’t miss a day of hiking Virginia’s spectacular Sky Meadows State Park, a visit to a cider barn, and finish the day with refreshments of your choice at a combined farm winery and brewery.

-Experience a Clash of the Titans at RFK Stadium! Ranked #7 in World Rugby, Wales takes on sixth-ranked South Africa in an international sporting spectacle you do not want to miss.

Sunday, June 3

– Peruvian food has finally arrived in DC! The Taste of Peru is a culinary festival that showcases the “gastronomical” marvels of Peru. This event will feature food creations from local Peruvian restaurants and chefs, as well as live entertainment.

Monday, June 4

– If you can’t watch the Caps in game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, luckily there will still be plenty to cheer about in game 4 at Capital One Arena!

– Looking for a night of laid back games, jokes, and the occasional free shot? DC Fray hosts FREE bingo every Monday night at Kingfisher. Grab a drink and a bingo sheet, it’s free to enter and there are plenty of opportunities to win prizes. No strings attached! If you can’t make it Mondays, O’Sullivan’s Irish Pub also hosts bingo every Sunday night.

Tuesday, June 5

– Join us for Glow Yoga on the Mall as the sun sets on Tuesday, June 5th. Meet on the mall to light up the night in glow sticks and paint as our favorite instructor from Balance Gym, Andrea, leads us through an hour-long Vinyasa Flow. Bring your own mat, and we’ll bring the glow and coconut water from ZICO! We’ll glow against the skyline during golden hour.

– Known as one of DC’s most vibrant neighborhoods, Adams Morgan welcomes patrons to stroll, sip, and sample food and drink offerings from 20 of AdMo’s best restaurants. The best part is you’ll be supporting a great cause!
