ScopeItIn – Facebook Live Event
Hey Fray Family, we need your help!
One of our local non-profit partners that we adore and does amazing work (the Colorectal Cancer Alliance) was impacted in a big way because of Covid19. Their popular fundraising 5k called ScopeItOut (celebrating its 15th anniversary this year) takes place in March every year which is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Their race is one of the races affected by the Covid19 outbreak in which Mayor Bowser referenced in a recent press conference. To continue the community momentum and transition the fundraising focused event online, they are asking folks instead of ScopeItOut to ScopeItIN and participate in a fun virtual fundraising experience from the comfort of their homes. They are now faced in trying to cover $200K they still need to fundraise to help colon cancer patients, many right now not able to receive treatment or access to programs the Alliance provides because of Covid19.
Now, more than ever, their patients and their families need our help to provide more screenings, continue patient support, and fund additional research! This is why they have created a virtual fundraising and community experience for everyone to participate! This ScopeItIn Facebook live event will take place next Sunday, March 29 at 9am EST.
Get Creative! Find a unique way to support the cause (walk the dogs, run on a treadmill, do a hundred push-ups, eat some ice cream)

They are making the best of the situation and bringing the area community together with a virtual Facebook-based fundraising and community event on Sunday, March 29 called ScopeItIn. Right now we’re probably all feeling a little helpless and discouraged, but supporting ScopeItIn is a perfect opportunity to take positive action and make a real impact from the comfort and safety of your home. Please support the Alliance and its mission to end colorectal cancer in our lifetime by donating to my team!
