Hungry Human Hippos On Ice 2019 at The Wharf
Back by popular demand, Hungry Human Hippos, your favorite childhood board game is coming in full size on ice! The game is more badass in real life, because you’re the hippo1 (Not literally.) You’ll love it so much you’ll wish it was a professional sport.
Teams of 4-6 people will compete for Hungry Human Hippos (HHH) glory. You and your team will strategize in your positions as Hippo, Rangler or Kitchen Guard, to collect the most “food” (balls) on ice.
Everyone gets the chance to play. Top teams will advance to the championship round for the chance to win the grand prize!
Champions win $100 of DC Fray credit and swag bags for each player.
Your ticket includes:
– Entry to Hungry Human Hippos on Ice, with a minimum of three games for each team
– Access to the player’s bar serving food and Happy Hour drink specials

What is your cancellation/refund policy?
All sales are final. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be given for any no-shows on the day of.
What to wear?
Players should wear warm clothing that fully covers arms and legs, but costumes are encouraged! Players should wear sneakers (not ice skates, no heels).
Can we play with more than 4 players per team?
Yes! 6 is recommended – you will get tired! Just add extra players when prompted on the booking screen.
What if I don’t have a team and still want to take part?
Don’t worry! We’ll organize any individuals into teams – this is the perfect way to make new friends very quickly!
How long will games last?
Games will last approximately 2-3 minutes. If this sounds short, trust us – you WILL get tired!
How many games will my team play?
All teams will play at least three games. The top 8 teams will play in a semi-final, and the top four in a grand final.
